Berrigan wines at Creighton Farm is situated 80km north of Perth, Western Australia, 6km south of the township of Gingin, and 20km from the shores of the Indian Ocean. It is perched high on the Gingin escarpment over looking the coastal plain.
The soils are well drained alluvial gravel/loam and are the rich red colour of iron stone country.The Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot are planted in the red gravelly soils, while the Verdelho is planted in the sandy loam soils.
David and Beverley Atkinson established Jane Brook in 1972. Since then, the company has expanded and now produces a complete range of premium varietal wines, sparklings and fortifieds.
The second generation is represented with David and Beverley's daughter Elizabeth now an integral part of Jane Brook as it grows into the next century. Our commitment to remaining a family owned Western Australian winery is embodied in the release of the premium Atkinson Family Reserve range.
John Kosovich Wines was established in 1922 and operated as Westfield Wines until 2003 when the decision was made to change the name to honour John Kosovich's 50th vintage. It is the 3rd oldest winery operating in the Swan Valley, situated approximately half an hour north of Perth.
In 1995 John Kosovich was awarded the Order of Australia medal for his contribution to the wine industry.
In 2004 he won the prestigious Jack Mann Medal for services to the Western Australian wine industry and in that same year the winery was awarded the Best West Australian Small Producer at the Perth Royal Win
